Senior Product Manager, Ian Abbott, explores the future of digital transformation at Atlassian Team ‘22

Ian Abbott, Senior Product Manager at Codal, recently attended the Atlassian Team ’22 conference in Las Vegas, where a number of new, innovative products for designers, developers, and product managers were announced. The conference also featured talks from industry pioneers like Bob Iger and Jay Shetty.

“Work differently, together,” was the theme for Atlassian Team ‘22.

In a world where the average enterprise uses 87 SaaS applications, different teams across an organization cannot be expected to use the same tools and workflows. So how do you find the sweet spot between autonomy and alignment?

The key is building application-agnostic experiences, powered by advanced integrations. On behalf of Codal, Ian participated in product demos, workshops, and other conference events to learn more about these innovations, and get an inside look at the future of digital transformation.

As a web design and development agency, we’re constantly adopting new technologies and processes to improve the work we do for our clients. We use various Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Trello to maintain strong communication and collaboration throughout our diverse range of projects.

Now, we’re excited to implement some of the new products that were announced at this year’s conference. These include:

  • Atlas: A high-level hub for the status of all projects, goals, and people within an organization.
  • Compass: A DevOps mission control dashboard that gives product managers better visibility into an application’s status, deployments, performance, uptime, and other related metrics.
  • Jira Product Discovery: A tool for streamlining the process of discovery, ideation, and building product roadmaps.

In addition to these cutting-edge products, Ian brought back a lot of valuable insights that can help guide our business strategies and processes moving forward. By always being on the front line of new industry trends and technologies, Codal is able to launch the most elegant digital solutions possible for our clients.
